2020 Project Round Up

Crown Lynn Yards

Crown Lynn Yards is one of the largest new urban residential developments currently under construction in New Zealand. The development is on the door step of one of Auckland’s largest bus and rail transport hubs and within walking distance of the new Lynn shopping centre.
The development is connected to the wider cycling and walking network with dedicated cycle paths and foot paths – Crown Lynn yards will be Auckland’s first community developed with active modes like cycling, walking and public transport as the cornerstone of the development rather than the traditional car centric approach which creates congestion and pollution.
It’s a community of the future, built today with smart affordable living at the forefront of the design ethos.
At Crown Lynn Yards, Avanda is setting a new benchmark for intelligent high quality urban living that will become the inspiration for Auckland’s modern future. Stage 2 has just been released to the market and units are selling fast.

Cloverden

Cloverden, Avanda’s first development in Canterbury is located in Halswell – currently Christchurch’s fastest growing suburb which is surrounded by great amenities, including schools, medical facilities and local retail, all within close proximity to the city centre.  It’s easy to see why its highly sought after.
Cloverden’s excellent location, well designed streets and fabulous playground have proved so popular that all the current available sections have been sold!

Acland Park
This major development is in the thriving town of Rolleston – one of the fastest growing towns in New Zealand
The demand for land in popular Rolleston has been extraordinary with the township doubling in size since 2013, Acland Park is providing over 1000 titles in this rapidly expanding region and offers features unlike any other subdivision.
These include:

  • Widely varied range of materials in the streets, walkways and surrounding areas for interesting and varied pedestrian focused environment.
  • Large boulevards and roundabouts to create a feeling of spaciousness.
  • Cleverly designed ‘neighbourhood’ areas which are very family friendly and provide hard surface play areas for all year outdoor fun and activities.

Acland Park’s central play area has proved an instant hit within the development, well received by the ever-expanding community, which when complete, will also include a childcare centre, school and a commercial hub.  Scores by local users are high – see the complete list in the link below.  Playgrounds in the development are ranked #4 and #6. We are very proud of that.

Airfields
Airfield Quarters are under construction – many of the homes in the first construction block have recently settled. Before long, nearly 140 beautifully designed and solidly constructed homes will rise from Hobsonville Point’s historic airfields. These will be followed by 300 or more homes in subsequent releases.
Airfields Quarters comprises standalone homes, duplexes, terraces and apartments, set in wide, leafy streets that lead directly to standout amenities like Catalina Bay and Onekiritea Park.

West Edge
Construction progressed well this year and there are 3 blocks housing their new owners, who moved in during the year. We are all enjoying seeing the new residents settling in.
The final two blocks, C and D, are having internal work like kitchen installs and painting done and we are looking forward to finalizing this stage in the new year.
